June 7

What's new outside?  A lot of the plastering is done - the part along the top windows was done earlier and has dried (white), below that not yet plastered, portion around the front door being done today.
Rain gutters are up, and the soffit is getting done (that's a new word for me - sounds like faucet only inside out, it's the wood under the eaves that prevents critters getting into the attic from outside).

And the downspouts are in - which really helps control where rain water goes, reducing the mud now that we're into rainy season.

What's new inside?  The railing is on the stairway.
On the landing of the lower bedroom floor, looking up to to the living room and hostel parent bedroom door at the left, and down to the rec room at the right.
Go up the stairs to the living room, turn around and look at the stairs...

Stairs lead up to the upper level of bedrooms and down to the lower level of bedrooms.
And in the kitchen, the base for the island is in place.

What's new in the bottom floor apartment (Stoker's place)?  Electrician Erik was just done screwing in the plate on the electrical outlet in the kitchen.  They're set with 110, 220 ("221, whatever it takes"  - Mr. Mom) and 12 volt.
