April 18 Roofing & Window Frames

A week ago yesterday I took more pictures when I was out at RFIS to meet with my small group.  Due to power issues and busy schedule I haven't had a chance to post them until now.  The physical changes to the building are not as dramatic now.  But the changes, taking place daily, are more subtle than before.

As of last week, here's what the hostel looks like from the RFIS side of the wall.  Metal roofing shines in the sun, visible even from the soccer field at Rain Forest.

Metal roofing shows above the roof at the left, and rafters up on the upper side at the right.
Rafters up on the upper section of the hostel
And the view from the front gate -- main entrance door now has an awning / roof over it, but is still inaccessible from the ground outside.  Landscaping and stairs will fix that.

Vew from the front entrance gate.
The back side of the building - window frames with security bars are in, door frames going in.  And the metal roofing now covers the upstairs and its balcony.

Entering through the lower bedroom level, looking up the stairs into the living / dining room area.

Continue up those stairs, turn a bit to the right and you're in the dining room.  (Don't go so far to the right that you fall out the front door!)  And look into the kitchen from where the dining room table will be.
